"Bite me" - Chapter 1: Just another day - by Nanna Andersen

It was an ordinary day for the 32-year old Josh Fields.
At 6 am, he woke up, as he always did. He ate breakfast, brushed his teeth and went for a walk with old Arrow. They took the same route as they had taken for the past eight years, and Arrow had done her business at the usual place by the small tree stump that had always been there. It would never grow up to be the tree it once had been.
Josh remembered it clearly. How when he first moved here he walked down that very same road and saw the old birch being cut down. How it majesticly fell, landed on the ground as though it just gave up on life, it was almost as if it signed. The ever so green leaves seemed to fade to a more greyish tone.
All left was the stump. The same stump as now, covered in moss and other fungus - Josh would even go as far as saying that an entire colony of woodlouse lived in there.
From the first ever walk; Arrow had stopped at the stump. It was the same every single time. She walked around it, all the way around. Just looking. Then her nose took in the same scent of eight years. Last, but not least, she stepped up on it. Gazing at Josh with her deep, blue, husky eyes. Once done with her every-day ritual, she did her business and moved on. Nothing else caught her attention like that stump, and only on the way out. She didn't even glance at it, when walking back home.
Josh had always found this behavior odd for his old gal, but, like everything else, it was now part of his daily routine.
Once at home Josh packed his bag, filled Arrow's bowls: one with dry food, and one with icing water. He gave her a quick bellyrub and left the house, locking the door behind him. But like always, when he reached the gate, he turned around to check on the door. Arrow growled, but went silent when she saw her master. Josh smiled at her and then continued on his way to work.
He had never forgotten to lock the door, not since he moved here at least. Yet, he still felt the need to check every time. Just to make sure. Make sure that today wasn't the day either. Like it never was.
He took the sidewalk through Palamont City in which he had lived for the past eight years. Since he first got Arrow.
The same blue mercedes drove behind him, slowed down as it past him, and then speeded up. Because of the tinted windows, Josh had never gotten a good look at the driver, and now, eight years later, he had accepted that. Nevertheless, he could spit out the number plate at any given moment if needed.
It had rained again tonight causing the roads to be flooded with water. It always rained in the night between Wednesday and Thursday. And like every other Thursday, the blue mercedes wheeled into a puddle, splashing water onto the sidewalk right by the busstop where an old elderly couple waited for the bus.
The very same bus Josh needed to get on.
The elderly couple yelled at the mercedes, waving their arms and canes after the driver. The man walked his wife to the bench. Their walk was slow and by the time they sat down, Josh stood beside the same bench.
Hallo, Josh - The old man would say.
"Hallo, Josh." the old man said as he sat down next to his wife.
Hallo, Mr. Peterson - Josh would answer, then pausing and would then address Mr. Peterson's wife as well.
"Hallo, Mr. Peterson," Josh said, bowing politely. He turned to Mr. Peterson's wife. "Mrs. Peterson."
What a weather, am I right? - Mr. Peterson would point out. And Josh would agree.
"What a weather, am I right?" Mr. Peterson pointed out.
Josh nodded. "It sure is." he said.
The same conversation as every other Thursday, not even with a handmotion to differ. One could not even call it déjá vu, because it wasn't. Josh did have this exact conversation with the same exact elderly couple every Thursday morning at 7.21 am.
At 7.30 am, the bus finally arrived. Two minutes late, Josh observed as he glanced at his phone. Two minutes late as always.
He got on and sat down at his usual spot four seats from the driver's seat. Here he looked out the window, seeing how Palamont City flashed by before his eyes. The same houses, people, trees and the black cat that nearly got ran over by a black BMW. That cat never learned its lesson, and it never would.
Two stops before his destination, one of his students got on the bus. A young girl: Amber, her name was. Her brown hair, longer in the front than in the back, was all tangled up in itself due to the hefty wind. Her big midnight blue scarf lay around her neck and even covered the bottom of her face causing her breath to come right back at her warmer than when it left her lungs. When she passed Josh, she nodded and mumbled a "Hallo, professor Fields."
Josh liked Amber. One of his best students. However, he worried about her. Always silent, always alone. He had a feeling something was bothering his straight A student. But it wasn't in his hands to attend her problems. He could ask her, but nothing more.
Therefore, he just nodded back at her, like every other morning.
Arriving at Palamont City's High School was as dull as ever. Children with the attitude of an educated politician, or teenagers as most people referred to them as, were scattered around the outside area. The night's atrocious weather didn't seem to have an impact on the so called teenagers.
They sat on the humid benches and brawled on the muddy grass, covering their bodies in dirt.
Josh signed as he recognized Matthew Davids on the ground. One of his own students. A little brad nothing more. Loved to interrupt the class, hated doing anything school related other than football, which he did deserve some credit for. But not a scholarship. Josh cringed. Defiently not a scholarship.
The bell rang to class as Josh opened the main entrance. Stressed out students came running from outside and a number of girls larger than the amount of stalls rushed out of the restroom.
When Josh stepped into his classroom, most seats were filled. His eyes fell on Amber, who sat at the table all the way in the back. Alone. As though the rest of the class had pulled their tables away from her. In the center, Matthew had seated himself. He always did this. By sitting in the middle no one could miss hearing his 'oh so brilliant' comments. Every time Matthew opened his mouth, Josh felt his braincells die one after another.
"Today," Josh said and went through his bag. "We'll be discussing the essays you handed in last week. You all have some common mistakes that we will touch on to improve your writing." He pulled the essays out and handed them out among the students. First Amber. "Would you mind me asking, if you would read it aloud later in this class?"
Amber took her essay, her hand shaking as it came in touch with the paper. Josh had been very impressed by her writing in particular.
It was the story of a young girl, who was brutually abused at home, but had no one to go to. She was ashamed and therefore build a wall around herself so others wouldn't worry. The story ended with the daughter committing suicide after being raped by her father.
A very sad story, indeed.
Amber looked through the pages. "I don't think I want to." she said without taking her eyes off the paper.
Josh shrugged and moved on. When he stood in front of Matthew he went through the leftover assignments. "So, Matthew," the boy lifted his eyebrow. "I missed reading your essay."
"I doubt that's all you've been missing lately!" he burst into laughter. The laughter spread to the other students, except for Amber, who was as quiet as ever.
One more braincell dead and gone.
Josh went on with the lesson, but as it ended he knew his students weren't smarter than when they arrived. It was the same every day. No one seemed to care for learning. So why did he even bother? Because of people like Amber.
At 4.52 pm, Josh went home on the same bus as every other day, with the same citizens as always. Little, shy Amber rushed down at the back of the bus before anyone else could take her seat. She didn't have to worry, though; they never took her seat.
The road home seemed shorter. It always did. At home Arrow waited for him. It always felt nice coming home to someone who actually cared for his presence. A nice feeling for sure.
Josh got off the bus on the other side of the road from where he goton it earlier that day. He walked the way home.
Once in front of his front door, Josh struggled to find his keys. Agitated his hands checked every single pocket. His heartrate dropped down to a regular pace, when they appeared in the pocket within his jacket. He opened the door and Arrow came to him. Wagging her tail backand forth, happy to see her master's safe return.
He began petting her head and she closed her eyes in comfort. Together they walked to the living room, ready to solve today's crossword. Josh sat down in his leather armchair, the one he received as a 'moving in'-present from his mother. One could say a lot about his mother, but she defiently had good taste in furniture.
An ordinary day indeed. But then...
...a knock on the door got Arrow standing. What was this? Josh thought to himself. This was new.
Arrow began growling, but Josh lifted his hand. "Easy, girl." he said and Arrow went silent, though not happy with the situation. Josh didn't know what to expect as he approached the door. Who could it be? His mother? Probably. She loved surprising him.
He opened the door. "Yes?" and was startled by the sight before him.
A beautiful woman, whom he had never seen before in Palamont City, turned her head to face him. Her eyes caught him right away. Green. Green like the leaves on the birch that once stood in this city. They drew him in and the feeling of nostalgia filled him from head to toe, however he did not understand why. It was not just the eyes; Her hair. Chestnut brown, a reddish glow. Soft-looking like silk. Josh desired to reach out and touch it, but managed himself.
In his 32-years he had never seen a girl like this one. And then, she began to speak.
"Excuse me," she said with the voice of an angel. Soft and daring. She held out her hand and Josh took it. It was just as soft as her hair looked. "My name is Jasmine, Jazz for short."

Words...

Are just that... words.

NaNoWriMo day #28 - wordgoal: 46666 -

Now the thing is; Since I finished my novel, I do not keep track of what I do each day of the month... Yes, I actually did that. But I know I was still working on revising chapter 2, so yeah. That happened. What have you been up to? Writing? I hope so. Because only two days remain.

NaNoWriMo day #29 - wordgoal: 48333 -

We are nearing the end. Only one day until the finale. Even though I finished my novel nine days ago, I can still feel the butterflies in my stomach. It's like I can feel the excitment from everyone who is still getting to 50k. Oh on that note; Editing is going great. I finally finished revisions on chapter 2 and started on chapter 3. Chapter two took a little longer than I hoped it would, but that's okay. It is my first time every revising a novel, so of course it is going to be a struggle. I am still having fun with it though, so I got that going for me.

NaNoWriMo day #30 - wordgoal: 50000 -

WE DID IT! Confetti and champaign for everyone! I know I have been real hard on you throughout this month. I yelled at you a couple of times, but that was only because I wanted you to succeed. And even though I have been saying how important it is to hit the 50k mark... it really isn't. Whether you hit 50k, 30k or 168 words... you still did something that a lot of people fear. You wrote. You sat down and wrote. Starting something new is scary. But the only way of getting ahead is getting started. If you did NaNo, in some way or another, you started. If it wasn't for NaNo I don't think I would have been able to start my novel. Having this end goal of 50k words and...the graf...ohhh the graf... it motivates me to write. That is why I keep doing it. This has only been my second year doing (and winning) NaNo, but I am going to keep at it. It is an amazing project that challenge people to take quantity over quality. That is pretty damn hard. We are forced to keep going and finish the project before we are allowed to edit and perfect.

Now, writing is what I want to do for a living, I literally can't go a day without working on my novel. And even if I don't see the shadow of NaNo until the summer camps, I will still be writing. I finished editing chapter 3 and that means there is only 22 chapters to go before I can work on my 2nd draft. It is going to take a lot of hard work, but in the end I know it will be worth it.

The real journey starts now. I hope you will join me. Until we see each other again;

Keep Calm and Write On.

When you think it is over...

... it really is not. At all. In any way.

NaNoWriMo day #21 - wordgoal: 35000 -

There really is not much to tell. After finishing my novel on the 20th I felt like I deserved a break. So I took one. But just from the creative writing. Another reason for me not working on my novel was schoolwork. We got a really big assignment that is due Monday the 25th, so I worked the entire day on that and did not get to do anything else. It worked though. I finished the first draft of my assignment.

NaNoWriMo day #22 - wordgoal: 36667 -

Being done with my school assignment, I had the entire day to work on my novel. So I started reading through it. Why? So I could get a better picture of my novel. While reading through it I would make a really short synopsis of each chapter. I managed to get the first three chapters done. I could probably have done more, but I decided to take it easy and not make it a drag to revise my novel.

NaNoWriMo day #23 - wordgoal: 38333 -

Once again I have managed to read through and make a short synopsis of three more chapters, but the day is still young! And I might read another or two more chapters before I go to sleep. Or I won't. I am going to a party later tonight and I do not get home before 3am. I am not planning to drink, but I still might be really exhausted, so I won't have energy to read nor write. Though this first read through is just to get an overview, I still want to be clear in the head when I am doing it. The real read through will not happen until I print out my manuscript...my 220-something page long manuscript... sorry rainforest, but it is in the name of my novel, so I hope you will understand.

For the rest of NaNoWriMo my updates will be a little bit different, as you probably have noticed, since I am no longer working on my first draft. My graf is a sad sign. It has gone still, which hurts me so much inside that I will not even show it to you. However I plan on being done with my first read through once November is over. After that the real revisions begin, and with that I will have a Hell of a lot to talk about. Trust me.

For those of you still doing NaNoWriMo....:

The beginning of the end...

I am sitting here; alone in my room. I cannot shake this emty feeling off me. When you have dedicated so many hours to one specific project, what do you then do once it is over?

NaNoWriMo day #17 - wordgoal: 28333 -

The 17th was a very speciel day for me. I started the journey towards the end. When I started writing I only had 3 chapters left to write. it was really overwhelming, and my mind could not gasp itself around the fact that I might only have had a few days left before I was done. But that was not the only reason why it was so special. My total wordcount for the day was 90808. Not only did I pass 90k, but I passed the wordcount of last year's NaNo-novel, which was 90106 words. This makes my current novel the longest I have ever written in my entire life. I was quiet excited indeed.

NaNoWriMo day #18 - wordgoal: 30000 -

At this point you should be around the 30k mark. If you were not, past-me would have to spank you. I want to see you all win, and there are no good excuses to compensate for the fact that you have not reached it yet. Being busy is no excuse. I have been busy. Really busy. But my wordcount was at the 18th about 94k. You just need to find the time. And use every free moment you have to write. Especially if you are planning on getting published one day. Anywho! I am not going to sit here and be mad, so let's talk about my progress! I actually managed to finish the 3rd last chapter and you know what that means; The final battle has arrived! And I freaking loved writing it. Unfortunately I did not have time to finish it because I had school and with that a presentation first thing in the morning...stupid I know.

NaNoWriMo day #19 - wordgoal: 31667 -

I started the final chapter! YES! My story is really coming to an end soon, isn't it? You bet. It was actually really emotional for me to write the final battle-chapter. A lot of stuff happened that really just tied everything together. But who cares about the story, right?! The more exciting news; I crossed the 100k mark...well, actually 100,001 mark! I know... that should not be happening. Especially not for me. I managed to write 100k in 19 days. I did not even know I was capable of that. It kind of makes me wonder what else I am able to, if I really put my head in the game. Could I do 50k in one day? Probably not right now... but maybe one day.

NaNoWriMo day #20 - wordgoal: 33333 -

When I started writing today I was only half a chapter away from the end. But though it was so close I would taste it, it was probably the hardest thing I have ever written. Multiple times I just sat there and stared at the screen thinking "how do I word this?!". But in the end I did it. I wrote that last sentence. I finished the first draft of my novel. The final wordcount is 103,398 words. I wrote a 100k+ words long novel over the course of 20 days. And the most surprising thing is that I am really satisfied with the way it ended. My last sentence was very carefully thought out, and througout the 2nd last and the last chapter there are small hints to this final sentence. But now that it is done I am left feeling empty. What do I do now? My novel is done, but NaNoWriMo is still going. I know I am going to start the reading of my novel probably tomorrow. But while doing that I might start the outline of a new novel that I have been playing around with. The thing is though...I do not want my graf to die...I mean...look at it!

But there is nothing left to write on it. This story has come to an end. And if I want to get it ready for publication, then I need to begin the edits ASAP.
For those of you who are still reaching for the 50k...stretch your arm a little longer. You are not that far away.

Keep Calm and Write On.

Do you know your plot...?

I have been watching way too many Stephen King interviews. I will continue saying this; That man is a genius. And now I want all his books for christmas.

NaNoWriMo day #14 - wordgoal: 23333 -

So do you know your plot? Because I thought I did. Turns out I had no clue what I was getting myself into. Well...kind of. My plot arch has changed. This resolved in me having to kill off a character a little earlier than originally planned. He was a secondary main character, and only child. I had to kill him while his own brother was watching. It was a very emotional ride for me, and I even had to stand up and walk away for a moment. Hopefully I will cry, when I read the chapter in revision.

NaNoWriMo day #15 - wordgoal: 25000 -

Only half a month left! If you are still behind, I am sorry to do this, but here's a kick in your butt! It is defiently possible for you to win, but you need to get yourself together. I hate yelling at you, but writing is disciplin, and since you committed to NaNoWriMo, you have to go through with it! I don't care if you are lying in bed with a cold...we all sit on the computer anyway when we are sick, so you might aswell be writing.
But on a happier note! I hit 80k! And then I continued to 82k, which means over the course of week 2 I have written 30k words. It is not as much as in week one in which I wrote 52k words, but I am still proud of the amount I have managed!

NaNoWriMo day #16 - wordgoal: 26667 -

I have come to the realisation that after chapter 22, which I intend to finish within the next few hours, I will only have 3 chapters left of my novel to write; the build up - the fight - the ending. Yes I am that close to the end of it. I don't think it has hit me yet. This is what I mean, when I talk about knowing your plot! I thought I had 29 chapters, but no! Apparently I only have 25, which I don't really mind. If I still had 7 chapters to write, I think I would be kind of intimidated. 3 more chapters seems more reasonable, and if I had to make an assumption I would say that my novel is going to be about 95-100k words.

GRAF-TIME:

As you can see I am not too far from the 90k mark! Really exciting!

Point of no return...

When you have been working on a project for a while, you start to wonder; is this really what I am meant to write? If the answer is 'yes' then you know that you have found it. If the answer is 'no' then you got to keep looking. For the novel I am currently writing my answer is a safe and sound 'yes'.

NaNoWriMo day #10 - wordgoal: 16667 -

Day ten. Only twenty short days left to go until we reach that dreaded 30th day mark. It seemed as though it was just yesterday NaNo started. You would think I would celebrate that we were one third of the way through, but no! Of course my grandpa was celebrating his 70th birthday that day. So I did not get to write all that much! But I did write a little over 2k words before we left for the birthday "party". Even though I did not get to write a whole lot, I still passed 64k total. Last year over the entire month I only wrote 63k-something on my NaNo-novel. So by the 10th of this year, I have already written more than I had ever done before in one month. My current novel is still not at the final length of last year's novel, which was 90k, but it is getting up there!

NaNoWriMo day #11 - wordgoal: 18333 -

How I managed to write this much on a monday, I have no idea. Maybe it was because I had an hour and a half at school where I did not have a module, so I wrote about 2k there, and then another 3k when I got home. Those 5k words were enough to finish chapter 17 and 18. And speaking of chapter 18, it is probably one of my favorite chapters. Things really start to go down in that one, and I love the end line of the chapter. But other than that the 5k words were enough to get me over 69k...the magic number, if you know what I mean...sorry about that...

NaNoWriMo day #12 - wordgoal: 20000 -

So like every other Tuesday I had to go to my writing class. It was actually kind of fun. Last week we made an outline for a christmas carol, and this week we had to write it. Now we are four girls in the class, so that was six days for each. We wrote it so people would get a bit of the story ever single day. I had to do day 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24, which meant I had to finish it. If was suprisingly fun. But most suprising of all was that, when we were done the story actually made sense, even though we were four people writing it without knowing where the last person stopped. But I was really busy with my school work. I had an assignment for the 13th and I had a presentation on the 13th so, I was really stressed out. I still managed to write about 3k though, so now my total was at 72.736 words. Yes I crossed that 70k mark!

NaNoWriMo day #13 - wordgoal: 21667 -

Today was an okay day for writing. Defiently not my best, but not the worst either. I am at chapter 20 and have just crossed the 75k mark!! Still very proud of myself. The chapter I am currently writing is, and if it isn't it is going to be build up to the point of no return. You know, where shit goes down real fast. My novel is coming to an end soon, which is really overwhelming. My outline is only 29 chapters long, which means after chapter 20 is done, I only have nine to go. And once it is done, I think editing it is going to be rather hard. So far there is not one chapter my story can do without. Everything is relevant, but I do not want it to be over 100k words. I kind of want to stop at 90-95k, just so it is not too long or too short. But I will figure that out, when I have to deal with it, which is not until December where the re-reading starts...damn...

As always I will show you my progress in my beautiful graf:

I know week two can be really harsh on some people, but you can still win! You just have to get down to business and write. Even if you think what you are writing trash, all you need to do is believe more in the scissors than in the paper.

Keep Calm and Write On.

Just keep writing, just keep writing...

The hours seem to pass by much faster, when you are constantly trying to save the daylight. Oh well, I write better doing the night anyway, so I guess my only real problem is school. That is a big one though.

NaNoWriMo day #3 - wordgoal: 5000 -

So with two 10k days behind me, Sunday had a lot to live up to. I started off the day with writing chapter 7, which went really well. But then...I barely even dare to say it...but then chapter 8 came along. It was not a boring chapter to write, but I just had a really hard time figuring out how to get from point A to point B. Do not get me wrong. I have an outline which I somewhat follow precisely. Having that rough start, however, made the chapter seem like a bit of a chore. But once I had the beginning out of the way suddenly it all went smoothly! I crossed the 25k mark and even after that I kept going!
I even made a rule:
  1. Thou shalt not rest until thou hast written 1k words. Once thou hast written thou words, thou shalt be granted the gift of 10 minutes that thou may use on what thou please.
And by sticking to that rule, I made it to 30k! You guessed it; Sunday was yet another 10k day. My totalt wordcount for the day was 31.165 words. And with that, chapter 9 was done.

NaNoWriMo day #4 - wordgoal: 6666 -

So far this has been my low-point during NaNo. I did not even finish chapter 10, and I only wrote a little over 4k words. I was so disappointed in myself that all I wanted to do was lay down on the floor and cry. I know it was stupid, because 4k words in one day is still really good, but going from 10k a day to 4k...that was hard on me. And on top of that I now had to get back into my daily routine, which involved school.
But I crossed the 35k mark, so I was still ahead.

NaNoWriMo day #5 - wordgoal: 8333 -

On Tuesday I had a writing class in which I wrote 2k words. It was a nice way to start off my writing, and I found out that the library is probably the best place for me to write. There are next to no distractions, and people do not bother you. They just let you sit in peace and write. But I could not stay there all day. I had to get home, which meant lots of distractions. Or so I thought. When I got home it was impossible for me to connect to the internet, so all I was able to do was write. And so I did! I finally finished chapter 10, you know, the one I was stuck with on day #4. And by doing that I had reached 40.523 words! You know what that mean; Less than 10k to go.

NaNoWriMo day #6 - wordgoal: 10.000 -

So the wordgoal for today was 10k. I am way past that. I reached a major plot point in my story, and for every passing day I am falling more and more in love with what I am writing. Yes...it is a first draft, but I never said I liked the words I put down on the page. My story is making sense for once. And everything that happens, happen for a reason.
I crossed the 45k mark today, but that was not the greatest achievement of the day. I found out something about the story I am writing: The stand-alone novel I have been writing over the past 6 days is actually the first book in a series. Or at least it looks like it. I had been considering the idea of a sequel, but did not really think it would work. And it will not. But something else will. I will not go into detail, since I am still playing around with the idea.

Once again I am going to show you my graf. It is growing, slower, but none the less growing.

Week one of NaNoWriMo is almost over. If you are getting discouraged just do like Dory, but instead of swimming just keep writing...just keep writing.

Keep Calm and Write On.

And thus it has begun...

I have just finished my wordcount for the day. NaNoWriMo has defiently started. But before I could start writing, I needed motivation! So I hung up my noticeboard and filled it with inspirational quotes!

NaNoWriMo day #1 - wordgoal: 1667 -

When the clock stroke midnight I started writing like a mad person. It was really stupid of me to stay up that late, since I had school the same day and had to get up at 6am. But none the less I wanted to kick off NaNoWriMo at midnight on November 1st. And so I did. I had already written the first chaper of my novel a few months back, but I decided to re-write it at the start of NaNoWriMo, just so the words would count in the final product. So I wrote for 1 hour total, and when the clock hit 1am I had written 2021 words! That was the fastest I had ever written 2000 words, so within the 1st hour of NaNoWriMo, I had completed the wordcount of the day.

After having written the 2000 words, I decided to get some sleep and write again when I got home from school. Let us say that I was very tired when I woke 4½ hours later and had to get up. I do not think I have ever been that exhausted in my life. But I pulled myself together and went to school. Luckily, with only three modules, I was home at about 2pm. This meant I had lots of time to write. Which was really, all I did that day.

I did a lot of sprints on Twitter with my fellow Wrimos, and at about 11.45pm I hit my goal of 10k words...to be more exact: 10.115 words. The most I had ever written before in a day was 7k words, and I beat that by 3k on day #1 of  NaNo2013.

Afterwards I was so exhausted, that I just passed out on my bed.

NaNoWriMo day #2 - wordgoal: 3333 -

Would you look at that? It is today!
I did not start writing as early, as I had planned. I think I started at 10am. And all I did since I started were sprints on Twitter. After a couple of hours I had written 5k words, and about one hour ago, I finished my second 10k day, which brought me to a total of 21.024 words.

I checked that in Word, and it is about 45 pages. In 2 days I have written 45 pages. I have almost hit the halfway point of NaNoWriMo, which is 50k. Am I excited? Yes. Am I surprised? Aw, Hell yeah!
I never in my wildest dreams imagined, that I would be able to write 21k words in just 2 days!

Now, I am not going to be writing any more for today, since I have just ended chaper six, and I like to start my day with a fresh chapter. But what I am going to do is all my homework for Monday, and if I have the time, Tuesday as well. That way I can focus on writing and not worry about making time for homework and such.

To end this off, I would like to show you my graf, so you can see I am not messing around with you.

It just feels so good seeing how far I am ahead. And having less than 30k left to win is not half-bad either!

If you have tackled on NaNoWriMo this year; Don't give up! Get ahead from the beginning while you are excited and pumped to write. Trust me, it is going to benefit you in the end.

Keep Calm and Write On.

- Nanna.
